Quality control

¡¤ Chinatrans Translation Agency has developed a four point program which insures the highest level of quality possible with each step. Below you will find an outline which briefly explains the translation process at our company.

Initial Translation
¡¤ When we receive your project, the "chief" translator reads the document. This translator then puts together a glossary of terms which will be used through out the translation process in order to maintain a high level of consistency. The project is then sent out to our professional translators who will translate the document into the target language.
Editing
Once the document is translated, the project is given to a professional in desk top publishing. This department compares the translation with your original copy and makes the translated document look like the original by verifying the formatting, graphics, fonts, etc.
Proofreading and Localization
After the initial translation and overall formatting have been completed, a language editor then proofreads the document for accuracy and grammatical correctness. Editors from the area in which you intend to market your product or services are used in order to guarantee that the text has been localized to that
specific region. For example, if you are selling a product to China, we will use an editor from that area that
is familiar with the specific vernacular of that country. If the document requires, two or even three proofr
  eaders are used.

Quality Control Check

¡¤ A quality assurance manager then checks the entire document, verifying that the project achieves the highest standards of excellence. The manager examines the project not only for textual correctness but also for the alignment of graphics and general formatting. Once the Quality Manager has accepted the project, the original document and the translated copy are returned to you.
Note: All of our translators are constantly updating their vocabulary with the latest terminology by either traveling frequently to their native countries, or reading journals, magazines, and/or electronic news from the Internet.
